IED Arti Visive is an all encompassing school of images, communication and visual arts. It is a creative laboratory, a place to learn about tools, language and expressive registers as well as the latest design techniques and technologies and the elaboration and transmission of images.

Images today, in all market and industrial sectors, constitute the key tool for delivering values and meanings. Through them information is transmitted in a wide variety of highly different fields including fashion, design and advertising, as well as in the political, cultural and social spheres. How a concept or a project is "dressed" is an integrated part of this issue, stretching far beyond being simply an accessory element, contributing concretely to the success and adequate transmission of a message to a specific target group. To competently move with professionalism in this field, designers must have an eclectic and transversal cultural background, based on in-depth knowledge of the social-cultural context you work in as well as on new computer technologies that constantly change the role of images in communication.
